Adding a table for courses

Page history last edited by Christine Bauer-Ramazani 10 years, 2 months ago

Let's add some content on your COURSES page.

When creating a Web space, it is always good to plan ahead and anticipated content that you will add in the future. On your COURSES page, you may therefore want to add links to different courses or different sessions. It is a good idea to create a separate page for each course or session. Please see my example below.

  1. Add some introductory information to the page so that your viewers (students) know where to click, e.g. "Click the session/course you are in."
  2. Create a table with links for the current course/session and future courses/sessions. To do that, click Table > Insert table (top menu bar) and highlight 1 column and 3 rows (you can add more later). Press Enter twice to leave some space.

IEP Core, Fall 2010
IEP Core, Spring 1, 2012

5. Enter the name of your current course/session and press Center.

6. To center the table, right-click inside the table and select Table Properties. In the Alignment box select Center. Here you may also choose a background color for the table, a border, etc., as I have done here.

See also the PBworks manual How to insert and work with tables or various videos from the PBworks Support Center on Adding a Table.

Now we are ready to get the students to add some content!
