You and your students can upload files in PBworks.  Students need EDITOR or WRITER permission levels to do so.

1. Click EDIT.
2. Type the title of the file you want to upload. 
3. Click  the Images and files tab on the right  .
4. Click Upload files and browse to the file on your computer.
5. Highlight the title of the file on the page and click the file you just uploaded.  It will now be linked.
